The consumer and retail industry has a key role to play in the sustainable transformation of our economy: it includes from the sourcing of raw materials to the production and distribution of food and beverages and their marketing at the points of sale for their consumption.
The purpose of this paper, entitled “Cambio de perspectiva, sector consumo y retail” (Change of Perspective: Consumer and Retail Industry), is to think about the sustainability challenges this industry faces and to identify opportunities for innovation and solution generation.
With this paper we aim to create knowledge, encourage discussion and reflection on the transformation of this industry, identify and define its main sustainability challenges and inspire with possible positive-impact solutions.
